We’re excited to announce the addition of the fourth member of our family! Elliott David joined us on June 19. He was 8lbs 10oz and 21in.
Joshua is handling the new addition to the family pretty well…most of the time. He impressed us all with spontaneously singing “Twinkle Twinkle” in the hospital shortly after meeting his new little brother, but followed that a little later with grabbing a cell phone and hucking it at the baby’s head. He’s been mostly fine — although quite hyper — since then as we’ve settled in our family routines.
So far, so good with Elliott. We really didn’t think that a baby could be easier than Joshua, but Elliott is proving that to be wrong! He’s quite happy most of the time, although like any baby he does have his moments of irrational crankiness between feedings. He is even sleeping pretty well at night, for a 10-day old, giving us several hours of sleep at a time.
We love him a lot.
