Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the Meyers! Our Easter celebration began the weekend before Easter at Joel’s parents’ house. We had lots of fun with a fancy meal, Easter egg dying and hunting, games, and riding in the cart behind Honey.

The Saturday of Easter weekend, we did the Easter egg hunt at our church in Wilsonville. There were donuts, hot chocolate, and even an Easter bunny!

Later on Saturday, we enjoyed getting some fun photos of our newest little one!

This stuffed cow is Callie (Cowlie?). Joshua is taking care of her for the weekend from preschool and needs to have photographic evidence of the fun activities in which she was included. Check.

Oregon Zoo

The weather forecasters got it right today, and the beautiful sunny weather predicted for today came to fruition. While Joshua was in preschool this morning and Kristen was enjoying some time alone with new baby Isaac, Elliott and I (Joel) enjoyed a couple go hours together at the zoo. It normally doesn’t work very well for me to try to take pictures of the animals that we see, but it did work today. Enjoy!

More of the new little guy

We’re getting to the end of the break from the older boys (they’re still at Granddad and Grammy’s house and will be back tomorrow), and we’re still delighting in the dedicated time with just baby Isaac. We do miss Joshua and Elliott and will be really glad to have them back with us tomorrow!

With the continued dedicated baby time, we’ve gotten a few more pictures too!

Elliott’s New Room

The time has come for Elliott to move out of the nursery and into his own room. The extra bedroom upstairs that had been functioning as my (Joel’s) office has been redone to become Elliott’s new room instead. We completed the last of the finishing touches earlier today. Elliott loves cars and trucks, represented by the thematic elements of his room.

Kristen did a fantastic job designing his new space!

Elliott is very proud and loves it!
