The year continues to fly by, and our newest little buddy continues to get bigger and bigger! He’s still such a happy and easy baby; we are starting to see some more opinions come through though too!
Over the last month, we’ve tried numerous time to have him try food, and he’s just not interested. It’s funny, because everything that’s not food he puts into his mouth, but food – no thank you! I thought I had a little success with a green bean last week, but then out that came too! He has a spot at the table in his high chair and he is disappointed if the rest of us are at the table, and he’s not in his chair with us. I guess that’s a start anyway!
We discovered over the last month that he can sit up! Just out of the blue he was able to sit up for minutes at a time, so we probably should have tried it earlier!
We love you, Isaac, and are so happy you are a part of our family!

Praise God for Isaac!! Keary did things like that too…like he tried taking steps, then decided it was too hard so quit altogether, then two months later, just stood up and walked and never went back. We have discovered that he learns in a less linear, more universal way…I don’t know another ay to describe it…but he will just collect all the information, now show any signs that he is able to use it or retain it, and then one day just put it all together and use it…he did that with reading (albeit very quickly) and lots of math concepts…. I wonder if Isaac might not have a different learning style too….just a thought….He is sure a cutie…all our boys are…and so delightful…and energetic. I’m sure Kristen is exhausted at the end of each day….the days are long, but the years are short. Hang in there Mom. You are doing great…
